Amazing outside patio area with terrible service and mediocre food. Given the dining scene in Portland, Rontoms needs to step up and stop relying on their dining space to draw in customers. The six friends I dined with tonight won’t be back anytime soon.

Hipster Hell. I read a review of Rontoms and their amazing patio in Portland Monthly, so my friends and I went there for happy hour on a Thursday night. Big. Effing. Mistake. The service was honestly the worst I have ever experienced in my life and no matter how cool the decor, atmosphere, happy hour or food was, the raging death metal and the plethora of over-priviliged white hipsters destroyed our entire evening. Do not go there. Ever.
Am I hip enough? Who cares, they have jubel on tap. And their tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwich is the best I’ve had. And, this is portland. Find this place and enjoy!
Cool space, cool vibe, really bad service. Waitress forgot drinks and some food items all together.
