This is an energized place to enjoy a cocktail. My friends always get the Rum Club Daiquiri which always turns into two. I am partial to Whiskey so I branched out and had my rum with rye whiskey, Campari and other liqueurs in a smooth drink called Montoya’s Promise. Our server was excellent and it is really fun to watch the bar tender stir and shake the various cocktails.
Room of Rum. Dropped by for Happy Hour last night. Both the Cocktails, as well as the food, were more than up to the task. Their Hangar Steak skewers were cooked to perfection and wed nicely to the Chimichurri Potato Salad. The White Bean Smoked Salmon spread was also delicious. On the cocktail front, the house Daiquiri was worth a couple refills and the Rum Punch Special was also A OK. The overall atmosphere was nice; despite the small space we didnt feel sandwiched in or finding ourselves having to shout at each other to be heard. It wasnt the scene that I thought it was going to be. Maybe that comes later in the evening, but we were long gone by then. Anyhow, enjoyed and recommended. drexlermcstyles.tumblr.com
