So the pizza is no East Coast/NYC pizza but it's solid and the breadsticks are really good. The thing I actually go for is the vegan rabbits salad.…

Gluten Free Pizza!. I just started eating on a gluten free diet, and this was my first time eating gf pizza. I can only hope that every other place that serves gf pizza will make such tasty pizza. I was a little unhappy with the 40 minute wait time for the pizza, but when they explained that it takes that long for that type of crust, I understood. Cool vibe in the place too. 🙂
Late night fun. Sizzle Pie Pizza 624 E Burnside, Portland, OR. Need a late night pizza fix? Sizzle Pie is the way. Interesting menu, heavy metal music, fun staff, great beers and very tasty Pizza. One of our favorite late night eateries. We just love it :).
Pizza = OK. And just that. Nothing else. Better pizza in town. And definitely worse pizza in town as well.
Great atmosphere, killer pizza, fun people. 🙂
Don’t understand the popularity?. My second attempt to enjoy Sizzle Pie. The pizza’s at the slice window were unappetizing in appearance, and looked flat and congealed. I ordered a slice, only to have it arrive looking like a flat, imprinted slice of cardboard. The toppings were imbedded in the crust, and the cheese was more of a varnish than an actual layer. I don’t understand the popularity; I dare say even Domino’s is better than this hipster spot. It must be the skateboards on the wall that draws the crowd..cause the pizza isn’t even standard.
Eh. I was excited about trying this place. I found the pizza bland and not very fresh tasting. I guess if you’re hammered, it’s 2:15am and you’re gonna die if you don’t eat something, this place will work. Otherwise, there is much better in town.
Good Stuff. Stopped by on opening night and had a few slices. Good crispy crust and the toppings and the sauce really complemented each other. The Bender and Napalm Breath were pretty darned good.
