Mediocre sandwiches with a side of creepy. Drove by this place 1000 times before finally stopping by. it was a nice night and they had tables open outside. unfortunately it appears you have to be a chain smoker to sit at these tables. they had a very limited beer menu for a tavern. everything was wiped down and clean, but it left a sorta anti-septic smell hanging in the air. this, mixed with the smoke puffs trailing in from outside didn’t make for a pleasing aroma. i asked for a menu, and granted, it was late night, but all they had was chili and made-to-order sandwiches, as long as you chose the ingredients that you would have at your house at any given time. the ingredients appeared fresh, fresh from the grocery store. i ordered roast beef with horseradish and some other things. but the other things didn’t matter, this was a horseradish sandwich. i couldn’t finish it. i did enjoy the chips though. they were ruffles. who doesn’t like ruffles? i probably had some of those at home too.
