I had mixed feelings about the Slow Bar. The environment is grungy and a little loud, which is meh but okay for the sake of good food. Service was friendly and quick.I had the Winter Slowburger, which was really good. Meat cooked properly and some great flavor! The fries were so-so, really needed some seasoning or salt. The most disappointing part of the meal was the drink selection–although they had a full cocktail menu, mixing did not seem to be high on their priority list. Of the three drinks we ordered, only one of them was something I’d drink again. The other two were poorly mixed and not well balanced at all. It’s entirely possible that their beer selection is better…I don’t drink beer, so it’s impossible to say.Overall, not a BAD dining experience, but definitely the worst I’ve had in Portland so far (here on business). Kind of disappointing.
