Sunee’s curry needs help. Bad Green curry. Color is awful, looks totally unappealing. Tasted ok, but was not a quality meal. I have eaten better on the Oregon coast. I’m guessing they are taking shortcuts because they do not have the clientele/income to buy fresh ingredients. The meal was shoddy. The server was friendly and attending. Beer was mildly cold. I want them to succeed, but am betting against it. Sorry, they won’t get our money again.
So few places in Portland deliver, so I was happy to find Sunee. The food was great. Surprisingly great. I’m thinking it’ll be our go-to on lazy, rainy, stay-in nights.
Soooooo goood!. I was about to get chinese food, when the hotel front desk suggested Sunee, and THANK GOODNESS! So very tasty, had Pineapple Shrimp Noodles, Chicken Shrimp Basil, and Tom Yum (yummmmy) soup. I haven’t been so lucky w/take-out or delivery EVER and this was HOT and so very flavorful, I had to review! Thanks Sunee!
Best kept secret on Stark in Portland. My wife and I ate here last night and were wowed by the staff and especially the food – the prices were a bargain too. I had the salad rolls and my favorite soup Tom Kha both were excellent. My wife had their Thai BBQ chicken and was very happy – it was done to perfection- moist and very flavorful. We also loved how welcomed the new owners made us feel. It is a neighborhood secret for now – but not for long.
