I just had the chowder, and coho salmon with asparagus, with the fresh-brewed ice tea. They were all phenomenal. Best chowder in town; had to add a little salt to the salmon but it was amazingly cooked and the dill tartar was light and flavorful. I’ll definitely be back!

Best Chowder Around. We are in Cannon Beach for two nights. Had both of our dinners at the Driftwood Inn, my husband has traveled all around the world and has not had better clam chowder. We make it here maybe twice a year from Seattle, we make a point of stopping here for a meal. The oysters are great, clam chowder wonderful and the prime dip is awesome. Loyal, lifelong customers!! They even got our 6 year grand daughter hooked on the clam chowder….we bought some to go and she’s eating it now!

VERY TASTY clam chowder! Best I’ve had in years. Great fish and chips plate too. Excellent service, would definitely go back!

Called at 5:15pm and put my name on the list for seating at 5:45. We arrived at 5:40 and were told it would be 15 minutes or so. We waited, and waited, and waited. At 6:15 we asked again and were told it would be anoth 10 minutes. We waited. We saw people being seated that came in and put their name on the list after we had arrived. Finally the hostess told us our table was being readied. The manager came put and have it to another group who had arrived 40 minutes after us. When I pointed out his error he got us a table soon after. Our prize after standing around for an hour and 10 minutes… onion rings on the house, no apology by the manager, and an ok dinner. Needless to say….we will not go back.

Great steak and the garlic bread is to die for. Would love to go back just for the garlic bread. It’s spendy but got a resort town not unexpected. The food and service were great.
