Sleepy Monk has hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had. Don’t be scared by a seemingly long line, the capable (and oh so friendly!) staff move people through quickly. Nothing beats a morning walk on the beach with an amazing cup of coffee.
Wonderful coffee – roasted perfectly on-site. I’m a bit of a coffee snob – just drip coffee, no cream or sugar, no frap, no soy…just unadulterated beans and water. You have to have a pretty good product to stand out in my mind. Sleepy Monk has great product. I took several pounds home.
Fair prices (3.75 for a specialty medium drink), great customer service, quick, great atmosphere, great espresso.
Best coffee and bakery. Hands down the best Blue cheese Bacon Scone you will ever taste! The coffee is fresh, roasted on site and wonderful. The staffers are friendly and make terrific coffee. This is a great funky little place, easy to find just south of the main downtown, well worth a visit. And such a beach town vibe!
The BEST Coffee and Customer Service. I loved this place!!! It had the best coffee (and totally yummy scones) ever, something for everyone, great brews!!! And the BEST Customer service ever, and believe me, this was sadly lacking on my last visit to Cannon Beach so I am eternally grateful to Sleepy Monk Coffee Roasters!!!
Hooked from the moment I opened the car door and caught a wiff of the intoxicating aroma of the coffee roasting. Mmm!! Fantastic coffee!
LOVE their coffee!. I wasn’t much of a coffee drinker when I first went to Sleepy Monk. It’s all changed now. I still take my coffee with cream and sugar, but because of the quality of their beans, I’ve really learned to appreciate different coffees more. Thanks to Sleepy Monk, I now know I love dark roasts that have a full bodied flavor and a smooth finish. Their drip coffee is a delight, their frothy coffee drinks come with real, fresh, whipped cream. What more could you ask for?For a hard-core tea drinker, I am now a coffee drinker thanks to Sleepy Monk! If only I could get the beans where I live. I foresee a trip to Cannon Beach in my future!!
