A New Taste Treat. A new taste treat! Best Baguette is a clean and cheery Vietnamese bakery that serves up a delightful array of sub style sandwiches with a twist. They have just about everything to suit most palates – ham & cheese, sardine, Asian veggies to porky bits. My personal favorite is the Asian sandwich (bah minh) with grilled beef. Imagine a sub with beef which tastes like marinated Korean BBQ, alongside lightly pickled, julienned carrots & daikon for a fresh crunch, topped with cilantro. It blows Subway/Quiznos right out of the water, and absolutely delicious. They also serve exotic-flavored bubble teas, sweet & strong Vietnamese iced coffees and pastries. Very happy that there is a BB on the west side now : )
Fresh, tasty, quick and cheap. This place is great with interesting combinations of ingredients for a pittance. WE’re working our way down the left side of the menu board and have enjoyed a good number of delicious combinations.
REALLY, REALLY, Good!. I am a sandwich fanatic! I love all varieties, but especially like the ethnic varieties (Italian, Mexican (torta), Vietnamese, etc.). This is the best Banh Mi that I have eaten in Portland. We ordered the #1 Special, #19 Salami, and #20 Tuna. The #1 was by far the best as it had all the traditional Bahn Mi toppings. The others were good, but were more traditional French style, so seemed boring compared to the #1. We will absolutely be going back and will be ordering from the Asian Sandwiches section (#1-14, 25) in the future. I HIGHLY recommend the #1. Don’t read the description, just order and chew!BTW: Stay away from the flan. We tried it on a whim and it was watery and bland. However, the cream puff was awesome!
Amazing roasted chicken sub! Cheap too at 2.95 for foot long! Terrible Thai tea! Yuck and when I asked to switch it to fountain pop they said no I would have to pay again! Very poor cust service.
Loves it!. Cheap, big portions, and great quality : ) Why haven’t I been to this place before???
Foot long subs for under $3.00. A great mix of Vietnamese cuisine in a sub sandwich. Great selection of bakery delights too.
