LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place!!!. My family and I have had opportunities to check out a lot of restaurants in the Beaverton area and this one is HANDS DOWN our favorite. The food is fabulous and reasonably priced and the staff put the perfect finishing touch on it as they do an incredible job being friendly and great. We rave about this place to everyone all the time and are finding ourselves not looking at other restaurants as often as we usually prefer to go here! Don’t miss this one!!

Talk about BIG. Biggest plates that are more like platters and piled high with food. Good diner atmosphere and a good place to go after a long night, but be ready to be amazed at the portions.
Love the Shasta scramble and amazing chicken fried steak
Yuck. Generally I like black bear diner but the chili I purchased at the Mt. Shasta diner was inedible. I will probably think twice before eating at another.
The Black Bear has gotten better. Quit going for a spell,came back and everything was great. The thick bacon, really good.
What is all the fuss about it is large portions of medicore food. Tastes like something out of a senior center
