My favorite!!!!. Soooo good! Our waiter was amazing, I think his name was Ron. I brought my friend who is gluten free for her first time and he was able to help her out & she loved the dish he recommended. He was very patient & quick to make sure we were always satisfied. I ordered the Fish & Chips & pomegranate lemonade! Loved it! Also the manager is always very welcoming & nice! I keep going back & still have yet had a bad experience. I highly recommend this place!
FILTHY table. We were looking for a place to eat around 9 pm on a Friday — the place we wanted to go was closed. We decided to try McGrath’s. The menu was enticing, and we ordered a sampler platter. The table felt a little sticky, and I couldn’t get the attention of the server or bartender, so I dipped my napkin in my water glass and was appalled at the layers of black, sticky crap that came off. When I showed it to the server, she didn’t respond at all nor did she offer to clean the table. It looked and felt as if it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months! The food, on the other hand, was actually pretty good. I’d eat here again if I find out they are doing a better job of cleaning the place. Makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like.
Always Enjoy Dinner. My husband and I always have a great dinner! The waiters are always coming backto check on you to be sureeverything is good.
I felt bad that my dad took me here for my birthday 1) because it wasn’t an awesome dinner and I know he was trying to do something nice for me 2) he paid for it 3) him and my sister received cold pasta, didnt eat but a bite of it, and took it home to reheat which even after that I’m not sure they ate it 4) i ordered some lobster plate and I saw more plate than lobster 5) I felt so bad and knew my dad was putting on a brave faceI called my mom immediately after and told her I wanted to pay for my birthday dinner because it was terrible and i felt bad they had to foot the bill for that. if only red lobster had been open, unfortunately it was closed for renovations and the other location was too far considering dinner had to wait until everyone was done with work.
This restaurant it’s my favorite place to and have a nice dinner very nice staff including the manager I’ve been there so many times and haven’t have a bad experience.
Lousy lunch. Went Sat. afternoon for all you can eat Shrimp…My husband had fish and chips..neither one was good..the shrimp were like dough balls..over cooked on the outside and raw dough on the inside…You would get a good crunch and then the dough. It was nasty for a 30.18 lunch. Will not go back.
NOT Consistent…and that’s bad. Been there three times. First–catfish–very good. Second–salmonburger–not very good, very little flavor, FAR too much bun for the sandwich. Third–halibut–very, very, very bad. Had a coating that left a vaguely foul aftertaste, and rice pilaf that was NOT rice pilaf, but steamed and then left to dry out white rice with chopped pimento in it…no orzo, not tender. Rather than create a scene, I went home and ate and wrote to their website about my bad dining experience. That was three weeks ago. No reply or acknowledgment at all. A friend told me that he will only go there when it’s not busy because in busy times they just throw the food out without any concern. He may be right, but it’s not a theory I’m going to test. Avoid the joint.
