A Traveler’s Friend…. My oldest daughter and I, on a long drive/life day, needed a place like this. Late getting into the motel, hungry, and lookin’ for a stiff pour….this place delivered. Comfortable neighborhood, big-size corner bar feel, with a diverse crowd of middle class folks (latinos/anglos/asians) all laughing and having a good time on a Wed night. I’m not familiar with this area, so that just may be the Portland area MO for this locale. Busy but not terribly busy, it just had a comfortable warm vibe that made our relax time perfect. The food? Good. Where–when you chatted about it afterwords–you didn’t rave about it nor slam it. Good dudes at the bartender helm, and their friendly nature for visitors was appreciated. We liked this place a lot…
