Very good Thai food. I get the wonton soup which has a good taste and wontons are good. I get the Chicken Red Curry which I love and best I have had in PDX. I get it with spice level 4. The perfect amount of heat. They also have a lunch buffet but haven’t tried it yet. @thai @redcurry
I like both menu and buffets items.. I think the menu items at Thai Kitchen are fantastic, I do think it is quite challenging for a restaurant to put their best foot forward using a buffet. Really how can food that has been out on a buffet compair to food that was made to order. With that said, I do enjoy the buffet right when they open and during their busy time at lunch. That is when you can get food from the buffet right when it comes out. I do know that all the cooks at Thai Kitchen are from Thailand, which would make them well versed in how to cook authentic Thai food.
You can’t go wrong here.. We have been royal customers for years. Their food is consistent and authentic comparing the places that I used to go when I was living in LA. The wonton soup is my favorite. The broth is complex mix of flavors that really dresses up the simply wonton. There are also lots of vegetarian options which are great for my friends.
Bleh. It seems more like cheap Chinese food than Thai. I’ve tried this place twice now, in 5 years. Both times were disappointing and other Thai places have better quality for the same or cheaper. If you have a big appetite, I suppose the buffet is worth while, but I’m not into buffets.
Thai Kitchen has been my favorite Thai Restaurant in Beaverton for years. Now they have a lunch buffet! Most of the dishes I like are in the buffet, Thai style cashew chicken, phad thai, spicy fried rice, chicken sate, yellow curry. Just as good as always but now superfast and you don’t have to choose just one dish. Good value for $8.95!
