The owner gave us the most burnt piece of meat I have ever seen. The meat had bubbled up and then burnt. It was so gross but when we asked him to remake something else for us, he started yelling and refused. I doubt this restaurant is even up to code.
Negative ratings. The waiter was working very hard, but the owner is so rude! When my husband told him my salad tasted like it had moldy tomatoes in it (we are in the food business, so do a lot of quality control) he threw tomatoes at him and told him it was made fresh today…ummmm….I don’t think so. My husband told the owner to taste it but he refused. My kids’ juice was MONTHS over the expiration date! And our meat was raw! Oh…and if you’re wondering why the koobideh is so chewy….he uses a load of baking soda! Gross gross gross. If I get the runs, I’ll be calling the health department!!!

Super tasty. We tried 4 different kabobs. Excellent. The rice was great. Service was great and friendly, food was fresh and served promptly.

Recent dining experience. A friend and I recently had lunch at the Kabob House, as we have occasionally for many years, and were served an unsatisfactory portion for one of the meals ordered. When we attempted to bring this to the attention of the owner, who also serves the customer at the table, we were met with indignation and such discourteous treatment that we have decided that we will not return again.In sharing our recent dining experience with friends who also eat there occasionally, they too expressed simular experiences in both receiving unadequate portions and in the owner offering discourteous service.This is a small community still, and it is often said that the best form of advertising is ‘word of mouth’…This is not a restaurant that we would recommend for the reasons outlined herein.
Nice, with reservations. A welcoming owner and decor was offset by a server who was sullen and out of communication. One of us got water and the request for another was ignored. When adjacent tables were cleared, it was so noisy that our conversation stopped until he was finished. The food was good and we’d have been satisfied with it, except that others who ordered after us did get the saffron rice. Saffron rice must have not been ready when the rest of our order came up because ours was white rice with a touch of saffron on top. I was jealous. Still, I’d try it again and so would my dinner mate. For lunch, not dinner.Dinner for two with two beverages and one desert was $39. The <$10 entree indicator isn't true.
