Went here with my brother and had one of their hamburgers. That was probably the most juicy hamburger I’ve ever had. It was cooked perfectly. I had the sweet potato fries and they were also really good! Great place grest food and atmosphere
Awesome spot in Beaverton. Yummy food, good happy hour and friendly staff. There were very unique beer choices. Recommend trying the sweet potato fries. It was a bit loud and small, but other than that great!
A hidden gem worth seeking out!. Dropped by for Sunday brunch to the ‘new place’ in town. We were very impressed. The special was a Chili Rellenos. At the recommendation of the chef, I tried it, knowing I don’t usually like eggs and chilies together. I was impressed…a chili stuffed with black beans and sauteed potatoes, topped with a perfectly poached egg, sour cream and swimming in salsa. Husband scarfed down the Almond Crusted Brioche French Toast – vanilla poached pears, whipped cream, maple syrup. Son devoured the Huevos Benedictos – avocado, chorizo, pickled peppers, hollandaise. Friend consumed the Asparagus Scramble – fresh goat cheese, caramelized onions, fine herbs. The presentation was perfect!! The taste was original and superb!! We will definitely be returning. If the lines and crowds at DeCarli’s are too much, head around the corner to Watson Hall as you will not be disappointed. And don’t forget to allow time to play a game of shuffleboard!
Loved Watson Hall. Went to Watson Hall last night and really enjoyed it. The look is warm, dark and modern, very inviting. Both our server and bartender were friendly and attentive. Music was at a good level and played a good mix of old and new (Jack White, Cake, CCR, some down-tempo electronica, etc.)For drinks I had a sazerac which was pretty potent and therefore quite tasty. My dining partner got a Moscow Mule which was also very good, and large. For food there were beet juice infused deviled eggs, the fried chicken and a Watson Hall BBQ burger. Deviled eggs were great, hard to mess those up. The fried chicken was surprisingly moist and flavorful, and came with homemade spoon bread and coleslaw. A perfect and filling meal. The burger was thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned and came with excellent sweet potato chips. The only negative would be that it was a medium burger when med-rare was ordered. It was a comfortable and relaxing time. As we left my dining partner was heard saying Id like to go back next week, and that says it all.
Very nice. Went for dinner and got there just after happy hour ended. Crowded but no wait for a table. We went as far from the door as we could as it seemed to close slowly and it was windy and cold. Waiter was right with us and told us the special soup of the day. We ordered fondue, soup, and the grilled cheese. The soup was cauliflower and was spectacular. Smooth with chunks almonds raisins and some cheese. Fondue was good, we ran out of bread before our cheese did and our waiter just brought more bread. My grilled cheese had onion jam inside and was just perfect. We had to have the pear fritters rolled in cinnamon sugar with a salted Carmel dipping sauce. Those disappeared real quick. Finally check out those hours great place for that late night snack.
