Funky, friendly, and fabulous! Be sure to stop by this small cheese shop and creamery with a big taste! Excellent selection of their own award winning blue and cheddar cheeses along with a nice selection of European cheeses. Be sure to have the classic grilled cheese sandwich. At only $6.00, it’s a steal!

The Best Grilled Cheese Sandwich I’ve Ever Put in My Mouth. The Rogue Creamery has been making award-winning cheese at this location since the 1930’s, but it’s only recently that they decided to make grilled cheese sandwiches for visitors to the cheese store attached to the creamery. The day we were there they had two choices, the Classic which was a combination of their award-winning cheeses, and a special sandwich with a featured cheese. We tried them both. To go with your sandwich they had a couple of micro-brews on tap and a large selection of bottled beer and wine, including several wines from the local area. They also had chips to go with the sandwiches including wonderful sweet potato chips. Two sandwiches, chips and beer only set us back about $20. You can eat at tables on the sidewalk in front of the creamery and take in the ambiance of old Hwy. 99. The sandwiches, carefully made to order on a classic toasting machine, were soooo good — I think the best grilled sandwich I have ever eaten. This is definitely worth a detour off I-5 if you are anywhere close to here at lunchtime. The creamery is a classic and worth the trip even if they did not serve such outstanding sandwiches. They are generous with the free samples of cheese. Don’t miss this place if you are close-by.
