Best Gyro In Town!. If you’re looking to stuff your face with Eugene’s best gyros, you my friend are in for a treat! Living a few blocks away from this establishment, I frequent it often. Albee’s delivers a mouth watering gyro at a very reasonable cost (NY style hot dogs as well). Ingredients are fresh, meat is seasoned perfectly, staff is personable and friendly, and they offer a customer reward program (buy x get y). The only drawback I can think of is the hours in which they operate – closing a little early for my preference. But if you’re a fan of Greek and have yet to experience this great local eatery, head on down! You won’t be disappointed.
Good stuff, fast, afordable. There’s always a line at meal times, they pile on the extras (onion, lettuce, etc.). cut the beef/lamb right off the spit service it fast and hot! There’s a few seats at the window counter inside and sidewalk tables outside.
Holy Deliciousness Batman. Heard the rumors, tried them out… Will be back for sure, bringing the wife and kid this time.
Good gyros. It is always a good sign when the spit is turning and they are slicing the meat off of it. They also have the good pocket type pita bread. However, the tzatziki could use more garlic and the olives could be a Greek variety instead of ripe black Californian but I will be back.
Local favorite. As a UO student, I am always looking for cheap food that is worth eating. We go to Albee’s at least once a week. The service is impeccable, everyone who works there is so nice and truly cares about making sure everyone is happy with their food. I bring almost all of my relatives here when they visit and they instantly fall in love
Albee is dope! Super nice dude and the best gyros and the best prices around. And now they do except credit cards but I’m old school so I prefer to pay them guys cash. And never forget to tip um you cheep pricks! These guys are way rad. Peace.
