Disappointing, we came in for a drink and something to eat. The place looks good, if a bit dated; but lovely brick, a beautiful bar and the seating was broken up nicely into various cozy areas. We had a seat at the bar and ordered a couple cocktails that were very good, but it went downhill quickly. The bartender did a great job at not looking at us, making it hard to order food. The second bartender was much better when she arrived but by then we had decided to eat at a table. Our very sullen hostess sat us at a table next to the service area; true we didnt have a reservation, but the place was mostly empty (and was still mostly empty when we left). Our waiter was very nice but the menu reminded me of something from the early 80s (my wife said early 90s but she is from a small town in central Washington). Lasagna Classico should be bolognese, pasta, and bchamel; no cheese and no tomato; their version was pretty much nothing but cheese and tomato, and my wifes dish was worse. We ended up stopping for something to eat on the way home. Also and maybe Im just too picky, but the menu listed what should be the secondi as the primi, and the wine list (glass pours) was mostly Californian and Washington wines (not Italian and Oregon). I guess what Im saying is go and enjoy a cocktail and the ambiance, then go elsewhere for dinner.
