Don’t bother.. I’m not sure why the reviews are so generally positive — the food here is terrible. It tastes like it came out of a can — but with less flavor. I was literally stunned at how lacking in basic flavor everything was! When the best thing you can say about dinner is that the salsa was reasonably good, you know something’s wrong.I remember going to Chapala’s over on 29th ten years ago or so fairly regularly — awesome food. This was NOTHING like that. We will not be back.
I love Chapala! There Jalapeo queso is amazing. Quesadillas are great too. Big nice portion
Yew. Had the Fajita salad. Lots and lots of lettuce in a shell, one full slice of tomato, one steak slice of beef and 2 wedges of avocado.Nice outdoor patio.
Amazing. Best Mexican food in Eugene and perfect for a quick but delicious dinner since it is one of the fastest sit-down restaurants in town.
Tofu has never played as nicely with Mexican food as it does here! A+ when it comes to vegetarian choices and a menu that is as flexible as your tastebuds. A ‘must try’ place for everyone ( try the primo salad ( with tofu!! Yum yum!!)
Good Traditional Mexican Choice!. Went to Chapala in the Oakway center and had a fantastic strawberry margarita! Good mexican food and good service! I like the Oakway Center, awesome court yard with great restaurants. Great place to hang out!
This is the better of the Chapala’s for sure. I live in South Eugene but travel across town to this one. Food and service are always great.
