The food is pretty good…. ….but it’s a bar. There are a lot of better bars in downtown Eugene with food just as good, if not better. I had the mac ‘n cheese balls once, and they were tasty. The drinks at this bar, however, are extremely weak compared to other bars. Also, most nights the Downtown Lounge/Diablo’s has a cover charge, while a lot of other bars are free almost every night of the week. It’s a lot better to go down to Barmuda Triangle, which is at Broadway and Olive. There, you can find a ton of bars all within the same block of each other that have strong drinks and tasty food. (On that note, I’d recommend Horsehead for food and John Henry’s or Jameson’s for drinks.)
