It’s an absolutely classic Eugene restaurant. Although the exact opening year escapes me, I can assure you that it has been here as since as far back as my childhood (native Eugenian – 34 years old). There are two Glenwood locations: on campus and Willamette St. They’re known for great breakfasts and better hangover food. They’re probably best known for their tomato and cheese soup (seriously, give it a shot).Prices range from average to low’ish (at least for the quality of the food). The staff is always upbeat and I’ve never had bad service. Keep in mind, I ate at the campus location MANY times throughout college, since I lived off Alder. This place is solid 4-5 stars and has massive vintage charm. If you’re not from the area, I 100% recommend checking it out (even you, Californians). Just make sure to bring your appetite, because portion sizes run large. Oh, and a quick tip, if you plan to hit them up during breakfast hours, be prepared for a small wait ;).

Prilly- adjective; adverb(Pr-ill-ee)Both a descriptive word and a modifier, prilly captures a quality that is beyond description. Similar to foreign words without a direct translation, prilly is difficult to define in exact terms. Used by those familiar with it’s meaning to describe the intense, the awesome, and the intangible aspects of life. Used by the layman as an alternate word in descriptions with mixed success.Examples-1) Prilly is a prilly prilly word.2) Dude, Megen is prilly prilly.3) Glenwood is the most prilly restaurant in Eugene, and their biscuits & gravy are prilly dang prilly!
