The experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, and the workers are delightful. The owner takes the time to stop by every single table to make sure that everything is good. He is very personable, and I was very impressed. We’ve gone in the summer, when it’s nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink.. And we’ve gone while it’s raining to sit inside and enjoy s’mores right at the table. This is by far the best service I’ve gotten, and the food was wonderful. DEFINITELY going back.

Decent food at rip off prices. Enough said.
Not perfect, but not bad.. I didn’t like the service I got here – the ladies waiting on my family seemed polite but somewhat apprehensive about us eating there. The food wasn’t amazing in any sense, but seeing as how this is the only place in Eugene (that I could find, at least) that serves Caribbean and Jamaican dishes, well, it’s all we have in terms of those food genres. My dish was so hot my lips were tingling, but my mom’s fish tacos and my sister’s burger were so-so.
We chanced by the restaurant, and while it was kitschy (which I like) the menu was lacking, i kind of expected more choices, and the food was a little ‘meh’ for what you pay for. Service was not very attentive. We may go back and see if it improves.
We ate here with a living social coupon, so I wasn’t so upset about the meal being so blah. The meat was good quality (burger) but the mushrooms were canned! And rubbery. The tomato was yellow and unripe. The French fries are battered…they were cold. We probably won’t come back…
Loved it. I went to Johnny Ocean’s today because the smell of his grilled burgers was too hard to resist. I was so impressed that he had remembered me from years back and took the time to talk to me. The food was outstanding and the dining area was clean as always. The cooking area is in full view of the customers and it is always SPOTLESS! Thanks for the full belly and the smiles! I will go back!
