Best Sushi in Eugene. This is real Japanese sushi, from a chef who really knows what he is doing. For those of us who like to eat fish and not rolls it is a real pleasure to have this available. If you sit at the sushi bar, you can just leave it to the chef to serve you whatever is good that day. I won’t go to any other Japanese restaurant in town anymore.
The absolute best in town for real Japanese sushi. The fish are honored.
Have to try it!. I really like Domo and Misako in Eugene. Having lived in Tokyo for a number of years I’m always on the lookout for authentic Nihonyori (Japanese food) and now I have to go try it! More from this reviewer once I’ve sampled their saba.
They may not offer the best looking dishes, but what they lack in aesthetics they more than make up for in freshness+price. This is a great place to stop in for lunch, the Yellow Tail I had today was so fresh I thought it might have been caught in Florence (joke)

The method here is not to create the most complex rolls, but to source the best quality fish possible. That should be the obvious priority of a true sushi restaurant.Awkward but endearing servers abound, the noodle dishes are very authentic as well.Never smells fishy in here, always smells like a strongseaweed broth (as it should)LOVE the head chef, he is very formal and polite-kinda cute. Really appreciates you commenting on the food, remembers you and treats you right.one last thing, try the tempura-specifically the shrimpI have no idea where he finds such buttery shrimp
