I enjoyed a very tasty meal here. I was in Eugene for a meeting, and needed a place where both a meat eater and a vegan/gluten-free/soy-free/dairy-free person could be happy. After reviewing the menu, I decided to meet a friend here for lunch.I ate the Holy Mole burrito as a bowl. I took out the chicken, used vegan cheese, and added quinoa. Everything was fresh, the flavors were well balanced with spice, and I ate every last bite in the bowl. I also ordered a side of corn tortillas, which were so good that I took them with me. I can’t remember what my friend had, one of the Mexican burritos with meat. He was very happy. His daughter had a bowl of mashed potatoes with corn, which she really enjoyed. The reason I’m giving four stars instead of five is because of the service time. All staff were incredibly friendly. It took me a really, really long time to order. After finally ordering, I had to wait quite a bit for my food. My friend, who arrived a little earlier than our meeting time, was almost finished with his meal before I got mine. The next time I’m in Eugene, which is September, I will definitely return.
Great Burritos. Love their CHE GUEVARA burrito with local black beans, plantains, sweet potatoes, organic brown rice, pico de gallo and spicy bbq sauce. The other burrito I used to like a lot was their Thai me up burrito, but for some unknown reason they took it off the menu. Still love this place, though!
Long time listener, first time patron. Not a vegetarian either but I do love me some veggies, and why not have someone who loves vegetables prepare them perfectly for you.The Moroccan Veggie Burrito was hot, fresh, and delicious. This county boy will be back again and again to visit the friendly folks at the Planet.
Good stuff!. I like this place. The people are always friendly, and the burritos are awesome! I’ve eaten here a lot and I’ve only had one burrito that wasn’t constructed well (all the sour cream was on one side). Their smoothies are weird, but worth trying if you have the money. The veggie burrito is the best, in my opinion!
I am not vegan or vegetarian, but I am not opposed to an occasional meatless meal. I, however, did not have to go without meat as they offer chicken quesadillas. Overall this place is great for an occasional meal away from the mainstream establishments. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is good, and they have free wifi. I wrote this review just after completing my meal at one of their tables.
