This is by far my favorite restaurant in town. Last time we went, the guy making the sushi was very helpful and kept encouraging us to try different flavors on our sushi. I’ve been here three times and hope to have many more wonderful experiences. I’ve had their yakisoba a few times and LOVE their Udon noodles too. Try the Sake (the salmon) next time you go in!!

Stay away… The Yakotori was the worst I’ve ever been served. Cucumber salad was just sliced cucumbers with the dressing added at the last second. The fish could have been fresher (scary when it is raw) the salmon Kama wasn’t salmon?? The server was nice but very new… She served the glasses by top holding them by the outside rim. Add 5 TVs that take away from an otherwise nice interior. I guess they are hoping to draw people that have never had good Japanese food before? If you like good food skip Makoto and go to Mame it is a hundred times better and at the same price range… but the interior is not as shiny although Mame thankfully doesn’t feature TVs on every wall.

This place is amazing!! The restaurant itself is very upscale. The tables are beautiful slabs of finished wood. Two large tvs, if you are into sports. There is also s full service bar. The food. The King Salmon sashimi was incredible! It was rich, firm, and very buttery. The Bento box was huge and the tempura was top notch. The salmon and asparagus special was over the top. The wait staff was awesome. Give this place a shot. We will be back!
