Delicious. When Sushi Pure first opened I being a sushi lover of course wanted to try it. Our experience there was such that we walked out unserved. Fortunately others we trust said it was a great place to get sushi and so we tried it again. YES! It was very good and the service was perfect. I like the menu of interesting appetizers and speciality plates. There is always something new to try and it is beautifully artistic in presentation. It is a little pricey but for me it is worth it at least on occasion.
Pure Bliss. I love to sit at a sushi bar and order my meal one item at a time while meeting new friends and talking sushi. This is traditionally the way sushi bars work, but until Pure, this unrushed dining experience was only a memory from my days in California, not something that could be found in Eugene. Other sushi bars in town can get the fish right, but the experience is something they miss. Not with Pure. Preston has created an inviting and engaging dining experience. The fish is very fresh, the rice is purple, but tastes wonderful. and I will be taking family and friends here again soon. I’m a fan.

Great fresh fish, nice service, the purple rice is a bit disconcerting but it tastes good, and the lunch specials are a heck of a deal. There are several things that are worth the trip but the Yakuza Roll… it is worth walking to the 5th street market on your knees for.
Best in Eugene. We eat here often and LOVE it. The fish is VERY fresh, staff is friendly and service is quick. The menu items are excellent, whether you order sushi, sushimi or something cooked. Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere.
Good Food and Service. I read some of the older reviews and think that something has likely changed. The nigiri (eel, tuna and spicey shrimp) were all prepared well and tasted fresh. My wife had the fried Ahi; it was presented nicely and it tasted very good as well.The service was prompt and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know without reserve.If you like sushi and a pleasant atmosphere, give Pure a try.
