Great place to grab coffee. Very knowledgeable about coffee. This is not a Starbucks so the focus here is on quality not speed, so be prepared to wait a little. Probably the best coffee on Alberta. cooking.brianstaffield.com
We ended up walking out after waiting for over half an hour (no big deal) while there were several tables open but no one to seat us. When 2 staff finally emerged from out the back the whole waiting list was backed up and a mess, we continued to wait patiently while they seated people before us, who put their names down after us. I mentioned to the guy that 5 people had been seated infront of us, he didn’t offer an apology and was somewhat rude. I’ve been there before and the food is okay at best, and certainly not worth the wait, or disorganized staff. So we left.
Food is good. But the quality for the service is less to be desired. There must be a shortage of ice. Had to ask for ice for water. No one on the wait staff was in a big hurry to clear tables for waiting customers.
Good for anyone. Have only been here once but will come back. Service was good and food was very good. I was here with a brother and my wife. My wife and I eat more vegan and my brother is on the other end. All of us thought the food was well prepared and worth coming back for. The menu has something for everyone. If you don’t find something you like, then maybe you aren’t as hungry as you think.
Nothing fancy, creative or wow. Simple, clean, but good. Super grain salad w/ lemon tahini dressing my fave.
We go every Wednesday for the $5 dinner happy hour! We love the Thai pasta, buffalo tofu wrap, and seasoned fries. Great to have a local place where 2 people can eat for under $20!
One of my favorite vegetarian/vegan breakfast joints. Had some really yummy spelt toast, home fried/baked type of potatoes, fresh squeezed orange juice and deliciously simple tempeh.
