Pretty tasty, but tonight was sad. Cafe Yumm has pretty good food, although I think the portions are small for the price (I mean, rice and beans is supposed to be a super cheap meal when you make it at home). However, today they did something that wasn’t so nice. They had published coupons for OSU students stating that they would offer a free small yumm bowl to try on both October 16th & November 20th from 5pm to 9pm (a nice gesture). Well, tonight (October 16th) at 8:35pm when my husband and I went to use the coupon, they were closed! Apparently, they had been closed since 8pm! While sitting there discussing where to go and get food, we saw at LEAST 12-15 other people (looked like students to me) trying to get in the doors within just a few minutes. Cafe Yumm had put a sign on the door saying the offer was also valid on November 20th. Well, yeah. People can read the coupon, man. However, we planned on going there tonight! This was a really sad disappointment for my husband and me. After hitting BK, we drove by and saw another two girls trying to get in right around 9pm. I think this was a really bad example of service. I mean, I realize this was a freebie promotion, but if you advertise it until 9pm, you shouldn’t suddenly close at 8pm. That seems wrong to me and, considering how many people we saw trying the door and looking sad/annoyed, this is not going to reflect well on the local cafe yumm.

One of my favorite places! So much so that when we are low on funds we just buy the sauce and try to duplicate the bowls at home! Also, please give the salmon burger a chance! It is quite delicious, especially if you can convince the staff to give you some of the chipotle sauce with it!

Awesome. Don’t leave without some sauce. This place opened after I graduated. However, every time when I was in town visiting, I always stop by for a bowl of tasty tofu stir fry. Love the sauce. Last time, I bought three bottles, for which I had to check in my bags at the airport. It worths the luggage fee!

I was a little skeptical at first, but being a veggie means my choices for fast food are limited, so I gave it a try. After eating here for the last few days I must say I am definitely going to keep coming back. It is delicious! The free range meat and organic ingredients are very tasty, and the prices are VERY reasonable.

One of my favorite places to eat. I love getting full without feeling weighted down – that energized feeling you get after eating good, healthy food. This is was a Yumm Bowl does for me! Brown rice, black beans, tomatoes, avocado, salsa, cheese, yogurt and Yumm sauce – so good!I also buy the sauce and make them at home. The restaurant has a great, modern feel to it. It’s in the campus area of town, so parking can be hard, but it’s worth it!

UDennis and his team Di a great job. Never had anything there that wasn’t tasty. I like them for catering. The food is far more interesting than a plated meal and less expensive than a box lunch. They can also accommodate gluten free, vegetarian and vegan and most if the time the franchise owner takes the orders and has been known to deliver the food when I was stretched for time.

Its all in the sauce!. Very addictive, simple, healthy comfort food. We eat there 2 – 3 times a week and even buy the sauce in bulk and make it at home as well. Lots of variation in the bowls offered. Favorites are the Jazzy and the Edamame bowls.
