A Series of Fortunate Events. Led me to the door step of Cloud and Kellys today for lunch. On a forum thread about favorite breakfasts, a fellow prime mentioned a full English Breakfast. Thinking along the lines of tea and crumpets, I inquired as to what it consisted of , having no earthly idea what it was nor having ever heard of such a meal. Back bacon, bangers (sausage), baked beans, fried eggs, fried red tomato slice, fried bread, and glorious black pudding, he responded. I was intrigued by this curious assemblage of food, but alas 4926 miles of land and sea separate me and the UK. A few hours later local Prime and gent, navalis, recounted a similar meal that he had had at Cloud and Kellys by the name of Irish Breakfast. The Irish Breakfast is made up of English banger, house-cured Irish bacon, black pudding (which is a type of sausage made by cooking blood or dried blood with a filler until it is thick enough to congeal when cooled…sounds gross but it is so flavorful that itll make ya click yer heals), white pudding (very similar to black pudding, but does not include blood. Consequently, it consists of pork meat and fat, suet, bread, and oatmeal formed into the shape of a large sausage), sauted mushrooms, roasted tomato, baked beans, two eggs, fresh chips and soda bread for a hefty $13.I picked up my order to go and drove to a local park to eat it. While the meal was very good, the menu description was slightly different than what I received in my large foil to-go bowl. I received all white pudding and no black pudding and no soda bread. Also, the online menu says that the meal is $13 but it is in fact $14. The baked beans were done very well, the sausages were amazing (as is everything pepper tree sausage house produces), and the tomato and mushrooms gave a nice little mix of flavor.Overall the meal was delicious, unique, and filling. It makes for a great once-in-a-while meal but the $14 price tag would keep me at arms length as far as regular basis goes.If you are looking for a breakfast from lands far away, I suggest that you give em a taste.

Pay no attention to skeptics. This is the coolest restaurant that I’ve been to in Corvallis so far! The staff is nice, the atmosphere rocks, they have live music, and most importantly, the food is superb. I ordered the 1/2 pound Kelly burger, and it came with weaved bacon. Weaved. This place is great on a Saturday evening! Ron Swanson would approve.

Slinte!. C&KPH is a great Irish pub!SWMBO and I seated ourselves at a booth along the wall. I reached for a table-top reader board and promptly knocked the Salt shaker all cattywampus. Our effervescent server, Morgan, hastened to instruct me to toss some Salt over my left shoulder with my right hand and not to confuse the two. We liked her instantly! After a quick scan of the menu, Carol chose Bangers and Mash and paired a pint of Cloud & Kelly’s Irish Red Ale. C&K have this flavorful Ale crafted to their specifications by Flat Tail Brewery, just down the street. The Bangers are sourced from Mike Campbell’s Pepper Tree Sausage House in Albany. (For my money, the Willamette Valley’s premier Sausage maker.) I had to try their fabled Reuben Sandwich. Having met my French Fry quota for the week, I had a nice Side Salad with Dijon Mustard Dressing. The Corned Beef is house-made and the Sandwich was put together with a master’s touch. The only thing that could have improved it would have been Jewish Rye with Caraway seeds. The Kraut was carefully drained and skillfully placed between the Meat and Swiss Cheese. I picked a pint of Yellow Wolf Imperial IPA from Alameda Brewhouse in Portland.Morgan did a top notch job and I had an opportunity to meet and thank Ko, the man whose kitchen wizardry created these masterpieces. We were both delighted with our food, the service, the atmosphere and, indeed, the whole experience. You may rest assured that Cloud & Kelly’s will rank near the top on my Reubens, Reubens who’s got the Reubens guide!

If they have the Latin Elvis as a special order it. After reading the ingredients I was scared to try it but when I did it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!! You will never have another burger like this

Please don’t support them. Cloud and Kelly’s books live music. However, they double book events, are horribly disorganized. And don’t deal with their mistakes. I highly recommend avoiding this establishment. The food is decent, but Corvallis has plenty of places to eat that have proper management.
