Good, Saucey Chinese Food. First off this place has great prices for the amount of food you get. For $6.25 I got a pretty decent sized plate of orange chicken, a plate of fried rice, and a spring roll. At that price I wasn’t expecting much, but it was more than I could eat (I’m 6’2, 205lbs). The chicken itself was nice and saucey. A bit on the thicker side, and very good. The person I was with got some sweet and sour chicken which was delicious also. I’ll definitely be going back to try other things.

Not bad for the price. Dinner: ordered the combination of the spicy Kung Pow and BBQ pork. It was $8.25 for a full plate of the entre that came with a plate of rice. For Corvallis it is a reasonable price. The food was fine. Not excellent but decent. The flavor is not bold or refined, but quite mellow. Sauce is a little syrup heavy but is not repulsive or overpowering. Service was very quick and pleasant with a clean eating environment (from what i could tell). I was full after eating 2/3 of the plate and had the rest for lunch the next day. I liked it overall. If you are a snob of any kind or are not out for large portions I would not recommend it.

Bad food.. I am Chinese. The food at this place tastes terrible to me. The sweet and sour soup is so bad that I lost my confidence about this place before the main dish was served. I was right once I taste the food. It was bad Chinese cooking.

Not bad. Being new to the area, this was our first random pick of restaurants here. I wouldn’t quite say that I was disappointed, but the food’s style is quite different than what I’m used to.For example, my first attempt was Sesame Chicken, which turns out to be just plain batter fried chicken with sesame seeds in the batter, served with a dip of sweet and sour sauce on the side. Not what I expected, but wasn’t bad either.General Tso’s chicken usually is a very standard dish for most Chinese restaurants, but it also tasted closer to sweet and sour chicken with a hint of spiciness.Kung Pao chicken tastes like no other variation of Kung Pao anything I’ve ever tasted, but I guess that’s not exactly a problem. It still tasted decent. It’s just a game of roulette as to what kind of food is associated with the name.Overall, the quality food is decent, although tastes a bit heavy on the MSG. Prices are pretty good for the area and serving sizeThe same waitress lady always seems to be working there every time we’ve visited (pretty typical of family run Chinese restaurants), and while I see her being friendly to the other locals, my family gets a pretty cold/silent treatment. Who knows why. Oh well, the food is good and the prices are decent, so they still get our business.
