Food: 10 Atmosphere: Kind of a Hawaiian shopping strip center vibeThis place is a gem, good enough to be a cash only place and you would find the ATM before you went. The charcoal grill they use gives just the right charcoal flavor that you just don’t find anywhere. The sauce lives up to the hype. Terrific place, and you probably will go in through the exit on your first visit, but in the Hawaiian spirit they don’t care.If you are anywhere near Corvallis, this is the place to go.
This is the best Hawaiian food ever! The sauce is the best as well as the rice and macaroni salad. I purchased the sweet ribs and the chicken. They are both fantastic. Hope you guys enjoy!
Can be hard to find to newcomers but best bang for your buck! I always get the Terriyaki or Shoyu Chicken. The Mac Salad is the absolute best and so yummy! It is really hard to finish all the food if you order the largest plate size, so I suggest sharing with a friend or saving the rest for leftovers. But I will not share my Mac Salad with anyone 🙂
Local Boyz is a hidden gem of corvallis and one of the favorites of college students. Delicious meats with rice and mac salad is a refreshing alternative from the regular pizza, burritos, and burgers along Monroe. Local Boyz has very little advertising but rather promotes itself via great food and word of mouth. One of my favorite restaurants in Corvallis.
Not nearly as good as Kauai in Seattle..but it will do. Did not have BBQ pulled pork on the menu. Weird. I honestly feel like I ordered teriyaki not Hawaiian.
Don’t believe the hype. Salty sauce, mystery meat and ultra-mayonnaise mac salad. All over white rice. Don’t understand college kids’ fascinations with low quality food.
So good!. I’m allergic to my favorite item on the menu but that doesn’t stop me from ordering it every time I go there. If you have the money, definitely make this one of your regular restaurants.
