We stopped here on our way from Portland to Newport, Oregon. A great place to eat lunch. The food is very good (not great or excellent), service is friendly and quick (it is counter service, with tables at which to eat), prices are reasonable, and there is a huge selection of breakfast and lunch items and baked goods. I had a spinach calzone, which was good, and a corn-blueberry muffin, which was delicious. The coffee was fine as well.
Gotta Love This Place!. I’ve lived in Corvallis for the last 20 years and this is, by far the best bakery in town Last year, they catered my daughter’s wedding and everything from the food to cupcakes were a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. For lunch or dinner, New Morning creates some wonderful and creative soups, salads and fresh baked bread. And the desserts..swoon! They have breakfast on the weekends, but so far I haven’t been able to get my lazy butt out of bed in time to check it out.
Wonderful Bakery. The bakery items are beautiful and delicious! This is a fun and friendly place to visit for breakfast, lunch, or a snack and coffee. Service is quick and they really listen to you if you have a special request.
I love this place. Huge assortment of baked goods, great coffee and local art and photography displays. The serviceis a bit slow but other than that it’s great.
This has to be the most over hyped place in town. The display cases are full of old, crusty food that tastes like an old refridgerator. Nasty!
I’ve consumed gallons of soup and bushels of salad here over the years: delicious, healthy, usually fast, and the dessert options are very yummy. Favorite dessert is the blueberry cream cheese square with a cup of frangelica coffee. Their cakes are stunning to look at, and delicious. My kids love the lobster salad and the shortbread cookies cut into fancy shapes and frosted.
