Fantastic Indian food, wonderful service. Nirvana is a mainstay in our house. We love their menu variety and have tried so many dishes–all of them have been fantastic, but my favorite is still saag paneer. We have taken friends there who have become regulars as well. Their lunch buffets during the work week are phenomenal, and their Fri/Sat dinner buffets are also great and full of variety. Try the mulligatawny soup as an appetizer–you will love it!27 Jul, 2014Amazing every time. My husband and I go here often, and have never been disappointed. Local man. This restaurant is terrible. We finally tried the place in Feb 2014 and it was AWFUL. Do not go here. The food was terrible and they had only 5 or 6 selections, the desert was bad, only thing good was the waitress, you could see how shocked we were that we did not leave. There was only 1 car in the parking lot at 1245 PM that was a BIG FLAG right there.
Very good food doesn’t quite do this food justice. I asked the waiter ( owner?) for his recommendation and he brought me the vegetable samosa to start, then the lamb vindaloo with garlic nan. Just a taste of ice cream to finish the best meal I’ve had in Corvallis. I hope work brings me back soon.
Great place!. After a day of traveling on a plane, my wife and I stopped here for the first time to pick up a quick dinner to go. While we were making our selections, the staff was very friendly explaining the different entree choices. We opted for the to-go buffet with a variety of entrees and sides for us to choose from. In addition, the chef made some fresh bread for us to take with us. All of the food we picked was hot and tasted great. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good Indian food in the area.
Weekend Dinner Buffet Rocks. I had wanted to come to this place for sometime and eventually came here on a whim, just passing by. Luckily we had come on a Beavers football game night (so nobody was there but us, otherwise it’s usually packed) and they had their Weekend Dinner Buffet feature ($8.99 Lunch Buffet is offered 7 days a week from 11am-3pm). For $11.99 we got a great selection of rice, dal, several entrees, naan bread, salad, condiments, and desserts. The food was kept full and fresh and every dish was packed full of aromatic flavor & spice! We ordered Mango Lassi drinks- a must have!- but they also had a selection of Indian beers and wines. The service was very friendly and the chef even came to our table to ask us how things were. Absolutely delicious- everything!
Shockingly Good. Nirvana gets the award for cleanest Indian resturant I have ever been to and the food aint to shabby either. Though I have been to a few places I still do not have a wealth on knowledge when it comes to Indian food. I just grab what looks good and run with it. With that said, the food on the buffet is hot, fresh, and seems to be of high quality. The couple that own the place are very friendly and even brought fresh bread to our table. The lunch buffet is $8.99 including a beverage. If you want some good food I suggest thatt you Give Em’ A Taste.
