Pretty Good…. I ate at a Panera about three years ago in Pensacola, FL and swore that I would never go back. But alas, Rev. Rooster has a soft spot in his heart for his two little sisters who where begging to visit the Corvallis location. The way that Panera is set up is much like McDonalds in that you order and pay at the counter and they call you up to get your food. This location has a huge number of seats, large tables, private booths, and tables for two which produces (I hate to admit it) a very nice atmosphere. There are plenty of small sandwiches, soups, and pastries to choose from. I chose the Cheddar Broccoli soup in a bread bowl (baked fresh nightly) for a cool $4.99 and my sisters followed suit. This is a place that if you are not careful, will nickel and dime you to death; substitutes, drinks, add-ons, and extras are offered at the register with prices ranging from $.99-$2.99. As far as the soup goes, I was like a child on Christmas who is more interested in the box than the contents therein. The soup was good, though it was just lukewarm, and the bread bowl was great! The sourdough bread bowl was chewy on the outside and had a nice fluffy/ moist inside (I do admit that I am a sucker for sourdough). Overall this place was passable enough that I would return. For now, I suggest that you give em a taste.
