Ho-Hum. The pros: Yummy food. Cons: I ALWAYS get burnt toast. If you ask for extra butter or jam, they act like you’re asking them for a kidney. No refills on soft drinks. Not the friendliest service I’ve seen. They used to charge for a second cup of coffee, not sure if they still do. Cramped quarters. Uncomfortable chairs. Extra charge for egg whites. I don’t like paying $12.00 for an omelet that would have cost me a buck twenty to make myself.
I went with my friends two weekends ago expecting good food and good service. We got there at about 12 on a Sunday and we didn’t get our order taken until about 1230 and then we didn’t get our food until 1:30. On top of that they didn’t have the food that my friend and I ordered so we had to change our order 15 min after we had already ordered. Then once we did finally get our food they thought they gave me the wrong sandwich and took my plate from me after I already started eating, only to bring the exact same plate back to me 2 min later. Over all a horrible experience and I will not be going back.
Worst Service Imaginable. We used to go there as a family on Sundays, but I refused to keep going after it took over an hour to get served. It’s not worth listening to my children cry for food. My wife kept going for a while, and stopped after the following experience.She got in to the place, waited forever to order, and then waited even longer for food. What ticked her off was that the kitchen was serving take-out orders ahead of her order.So maybe that’s the way you get good food at Sam’s Station. Call ahead for takeout, then you won’t have to sit there for hours at the cramped tables waiting for food.
Bad Service. You can sit down to eat and be waited on or pick some baked goods from the front counter. Don’t sit down to eat, the service is terrible. The muffins are okay, sometimes a little dry.
Excellent breakfast! We will come back. We recommend the French Toast & Matt’s Favorite Breakfast!
It doesn’t matter if the food is good if the service is as bad as it is at Sam’s Station.
If you want to get up in the morning, then I would suggest going to Sams Station.
