  Dang, this place has a lot going for it so Ill start withthe positive aspects. The food here is pretty amazing! I had the special ThaiChile Shrimp Taco and it was almost like artwork. Great presentation and tastewith a kiss of sweet heat. The shrimp was succulent and juicy. I also indulgedin the Carnitas & Curry Chicken Tacos off their (fairly) regular menu bothof which were above par. The mango habanero hot sauce was a nice complement. Mygirlfriend enjoyed the Crispy Duck Plate. Many places ruin duck dishes but theynailed it here. We shared a delicious Kale Salad and really enjoyed the pomegranatekernels! A very nice sweet/tart counter punch.They have, as the name implies, a robust wine selection, afull bar & decent beer selection.Now, we had the privilege of being seated at a table thatgave my girlfriend a good look at the employee activity both behind and on thefloor. The biggest thing I am going to point out here was their handling andserving of the water being placed on the guests tables. At no point did we seea partially consumed glass bottle being poured out and cleaned!!! They weresimply taking the bottles off the tables and topping them off AT THEHANDWASHING SINK! Furthermore, as we were there at closing we witnessed all ofsaid bottles being topped off and set on the shelf or in an open cooler presumablyfor the next day You would think at the end of the day they would at least runthem all through the washer. Ill leave the rest to your imagination.Service was adequate but unexceptional. We were surprised thatwe had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated on a Tuesday night. (The adjacent restaurantwas effectively dead.) It was also fairly loud when we got there. Not much inthe way of noise abatement. All things being said Ill be shocked if I evertalk my girlfriend into going here again.
