I went with some friends there and my friend found a used condom in her seat. Total dive. We were trying to find an outlet for my phone charger and couldn’t find one that worked. The waitress wasn’t much help with anything and came to collect money before we were done ordering drinks. Drinks were not great. My bloody Mary was ok but my friend’s screwdriver was bad. Food was delicious and affordable, though. I had some great biscuits and gravy and my friend loved her mac n cheese. Too bad the atmosphere, service, and alcohol were subpar.
Worst service. Went to The Peacock for breakfast on a Saturday morning. We got seated quickly because there was quite a few open tables. Our server didn’t come to the table until 20 minutes later. We had to ask to be served water, and the server only brought 3 cups (there were 5 of us) and then explained that we had to wait for the dishes to be cleaned to get more water. The food was good, but sadly it was cold by the time we were served. We had to wait for the server to bring us flatware after he had served our food to us, and he explained the delayed service was because everyone in the back of the house had been hungover! Overall the staff seemed very unprofessional and provided horrible service.
