I asked the blonde pregnant bartender for tea since I don’t drink and she brings me tea and does not put the tea bag in the cup. I asked for a refill and she wants to take my cup and I just asked her for hot water. She was so rude and called me rude. I told her it was for sanitary rerasons. I was not rude just wanted decent service. When I turned in my lottery ticket she tries to grab the money for the tea. I tell her she has to lay the money down and then Ill pay for the tea. She said she knew that but would not take her hand off the money so I could count it. She grabbed her money for the tea and I said she was a poor bartender for not refilling my tea and then violated lottery rules. I had planned earlier in the night to give her a good tip since she was pregnant but she was so bad She deserved nothin. She was still arguing with me when I walked out. Terrible person, terrible service. She beyond rude.

Good stuff!. Tommy’s is not fancy, nor do they try to be. They serve up good, quality food with friendly service and decent prices. We had a fairly large group today and the service was fast and efficient. They serve breakfast all day. Several of my dining mates chose breakfast skillets – they all looked delicious. I opted for a Reuben with tater tots. It’s a triple decker but not overly sized. It was just right with a generous side of tater tots.Tommy’s does a nice job. I’ll definitely be back.

Fill It With A Skillet…. I took one of my sisters out to a birthday breakfast at Tommys at around 6A.M this morning. We are big time skillet eaters, and I had caught wind that Tommys serves em up in variety. We grabbed a corner table by the door, examined the menu, and started swigging coffee as fast as waitress could fill our little brown cups. Each skillet is accompanied with four questions: How do you like your eggs? Hash browns or home fries? What kind of Cheese? What kind of Toast? I chose the Chicken Fried Steak Skillet, over easy, home fries, cheddar, and dry sourdough. My sister went with the Denver Skillet, over easy, home fries, pepper jack, and buttery white. Both skillets were wonderfully made, and the home fries were nicely cooked compared to other places in town like Sharons. The waitress was super friendly, helpful, and our glasses never ran dry. The two skillets and coffee rang up at just over $20. I suggest you give em a taste!

Almost everybody I know likes this place, with the exception of myself. The newly restored place looks great, but the bland food remains the same. I’ve been there 3 times since they’ve reopened and ordered something different each time. Was less than thrilled all 3 times. I’d definitely opt for Sharon’s or Broken Yolk over Tommy’s.

Tommy’s is OPEN! Good quality standard American food. I had the special ( chicken breast with mushroom- bacon heavy cream sauce) and my wife had the chicken wrap. They were both very nice. The spicy Cajun fries were really good. Total bill was under $22 including drinks. We will be back soon.
