Ordered a soy latte, and it was far and above the best I’ve had in Corvallis. The store itself is very quaint and cute, perfect place to do work on a rainy day. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend a visit.
The coffee was good, the atmosphere, especially the great color of the cups and mugs were fun and the owners delightful. I have been to this coffee house 3 times now and found it a quiet place to sip, work and collect my thoughts as well as conduct a brief work meeting. The coffee was rich and the atmosphere great.The owners are very welcoming and generous. A problem with wi fi one visit resulted in a free latte!
What I’ve been waiting for. I finally made it to Tried & True, and am I glad I did! The espresso I had was by far the best one I’ve had in Corvallis, and more of what you’d expect to find in the best Portland coffee shops. I haven’t tried the pastries yet, but the coffee was great!
Would not return. I consider myself an espresso snob since I only ever order and drink americanos. The americano here is over priced ($3.50 for 3 shots). The americano I ordered had a very sour and bitter taste, not a rich wholesome flavor like espresso should taste. I could barely drink it and it nearly made me sick. I would not recommend this place for espresso, but maybe their lattes and other drinks are better, then again, likely over priced.
Nice New Coffee Shop Downtown. Dropped in on opening day.Small, cozy location…well lit with big windows.Wifi & LOTs of power outletsBut the draw is the coffee and it is to die for….they roast their own beans and they are good!Also a double shot is standard unlike some places.Also some super moist mini-cupcakes…try the pumpkin one before they are out of season.Friendly owner/operators.Will be back.
