We really liked it, and very friendly folks there. It really is a good food value. Friendly servers who had nice, genuine smiles. The food was served hot, it was very well seasoned, and plenty of it (we came away with enough for lunch the next day). We would definitely go back again. And a huge selection on the menu.
The service here was a bit lacking. Another turn off was some dirty silverware and plates. Where I live there is top notch Mexican food so maybe I am a little picky, but I wouldnt go back.
Certainly not the best Mexican food I have had. The problem was the dirty plate and fork. Sort of made me not excited about eating my dinner. Needs improvement in dish washing.
Smelled good but my daughters ordered water in kids cups the cups came really dirty with cola in bottom. Ewwwwwww we left yuck
They can’t handle a holiday crowd. Ran out of everything and the service was very slow with not many apologies.
Great! Much better than expected for a centrally located resort food source. Ordered the Prawn Fajitas mui bueno! Hub had the carnita burrito dinner- which he loved. The kiddo’s dinners were well received. All meals had huge portions with fresh ingredients: the lettuce was crisp, veggies perfect, and plenty of sour cream & guacamole. Wait staff was fabulous! Our dinner outing experience at El Caporal exceeded our expectations!
Not bad, not great. I’ve had good service and food there. its a bit over priced. it was always on a slow night. after reading the other reviews, sounds like if its busy turn around and go somewhere else.
