To clarify my posts. I returned to give it one last try and witnessed what happened just 2 days ago.02 May, 2014I have been in the sunspot before. It used to be a great place. Talk to local friends and family. See old timers you haven’t in ages. Good place to catch up, find work, sell stuff, trade stuff. It was awesome! I quit going there about 2 years ago when I was treated so horrible by that waitress Bobbie. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!!!!! She is the worst! All of you are right about her. I believe every word. However the person to blame is Linda Murphy. She is the owner she has aloud this to happen. If you like call her tell her what you think her # is (541)771-2516.Shame on her. What a deviststing blow to the community. Just so everyone knows just a few miles away in Redmond is Regio’s cafe. It used to be the old Hub Restaurant. The people Bobbie has ran off and many long time locals go there now. Give it a try looks like a dive but its great food and way better service!!!!!!!01 May, 2014This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life! The waitress named Bobbie is rude, disrespectful, and just flat out mean! I witnessed her badger and throw drinks down on the table at a couple and there little boy after she left them sitting there for what seemed like forever. The man said thank you and she scowled at him. Then she proceeded to go behind the counter and talk smack to the others were everyone could hear. Im guessing the man had enough he made quite the scene. Said a few things im not sure hes proud of or maybe not. Lol If that wasnt enough she followed them outside and screamed obscenities at them. I could hear it through the open door she was holding. Never in my life have i witnessed such a thing by a waitress. She didnt get my tip and this place no longer will get my buisness!!!! Main question why does the owner continue to employ her. From other reviews its obvious this has been going on a long time. SHAME ON THE OWNER!!!!
This restraunt has food that is mediocre at best. I have never been treated so rudely by a server in my life. The place is dirty and there is no way I would return to this establishment. I have heard from several locals that feel the same way but tolerate the servers behavior because quite frankly it is somewhere they have been coming to for many years prior to this server working here! Pretty sad they have to tolerate someone’s rudeness simply because they have spent years gathering here.
Over charger. Hi, this morning the wife and i decided to go for biscuit and gravy at the sun spot would not recomend it or send some one their the food came on the plate ,we wanted two biscuit and got one cut to look like two than we ask for a clean plate to share sience we are over 55, the food was ok. then it was time to go the bill said a extra plate cost one dollar and she charge us for the plate!!! one place not to eat what a rip off,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,cuit
The meanest waitress on the planet. Wow the waitress was so mean! We went there for the first and last time and I’m a local! The food was cold but I just paid for it rather than be abused any more. Try the coffee cart down the road by the market instead for a smile and someone who really cares if you like it and serves you with a smile instead of snapping at you!
The Help. Food is good, but, ONE table help has to GO. Bobbie is so rude. Everyone else is just fine. I can’t believe the owner puts up with her.
Awesome!. I love there food. Ever since my Grandpa Dick took my sister and i there i cound’t get over there good ice-cream and bacon cheese burgers!
