A New Fave In The Oregon Wine Country!. After driving by Red Hills many times, we finally were able to have a meal here last night. The ambiance was very cozy and at 5:45 we were the first diners of the evening. Entrees include a salad, everything is very fresh and the greens in the salad were from a friend’s garden the server told us. My entree was the Seared King Salmon with Mango Salsa which was the best restaurant salmon I’ve had in a long time. Fresh veggies and rice pilaf accomopanied the salmon.For dessert I had the Lavendar housemade ice cream which was a lovely, unique treat. Served with a shortbreade cookie and some chocolate. The only suggestion I can make is that the Pinot Noir I ordered should have been served in a proper glass. The WillaKenzie wine deserves to be served in something other than a white wine glass. I give Red Hills two thumbs up and cannont wait to return again to this humble dining establishment in the heart of Pinot heaven! 🙂
