Great find. Travelling through OR and stopped for the night. Outstanding sushi!! We had Texas roll, Spider roll, Williamette roll, salmon nigri and amaebi. Also a bowl of Udon and 2 large local beers. Fresh taste, no fish odor. Very clean and service was outstanding. We ate early so it wasn’t too busy. Very reasonable price. I’ll return if ever in Eugene again.
BEST SUSHI IN TOWN!. I went there with my family for my bday dinner, and everything was perfect.Everyone was really nice, food was great, service was awesome. and they even gave us the birthday specials. How sweet.. and we figured out that they do karaoke at night too. Oh man, we had tons of fun here and we are definally going back there again. the lady was really nice and I just LOVE THIS PLACE! THE BEST PLACE TO GO 🙂
Unaware of Karaoke charge.. So three girlfriends and myself went for drinks, apps, and karaoke, because one of the girls’ friends said that they heard Sushi Seoul had karaoke. So we go in and ask for the booth, and the lady didn’t tell us that there was a charge. I did not see it posted anywhere that there was karaoke at all, let alone a charge…We had a good time, but the food was sub-par.At 11:30, we figured we should pack up, because we were sure they’d be closing soon.I go pick up the check, see the charge for the karaoke, so we told them that we hadn’t known about the charge. When I said that I’d never heard of a charge for Karaoke, the women looked at me like I was insane, and they were totally insulted that I’d think it would be free, especially since we stayed until 11:30, and they had closed at 10 (we were unaware of this; they did not at any point in time come into the booth to let us know that they were closing.Anyways, after being yelled at for 15 minutes, trying to get them to at least cut us a deal for the misunderstanding, I finally threw my card at them to pay for the whole thing…I will not be going here again. Also, there were no Chinese karaoke songs.
Delightful!. I went here when it was not busy, and pretty much had the sushi chef/owner’s undivided attention. He served very fresh fish and a few creative surprises like a salmon arugula salad, which was on the house. Portions were large, making it a little daunting to eat gracefully, but no question I got my money’s worth here. Only my first visit, but very good quality sushi in addition to good value. It was a little disconcerting having so many random non-Japanese, and indeed non-Asian items offered. I am always skeptical about Chinese resturants that offer hamburgers. Sushi bars that offer coffee shop cuisine is one I have not seen before. But I’d have to rate this place very good based upon my experience. Even if this restaurant does not seem to know what it wants to be when it grows up!
Great food and great prices!. Our family has gone there twice and once again recently; we enjoyed both sushi and some traditional Korean dishes. It was delicious and we were pleased with the prices. Thanks, Sushi Seoul
Horrible Food & Rude Servers. The rice my sushi was made with was extremely dry. When I tried to send the dish back because it was inedible, the owner’s wife began to argue with me over the quality of the dish. She told us the rice was fresh, that it had been made at three (it was around 8). Five hours sitting out is not fresh; and it was reflected. When our main waiter came back to the table, he suggested a bit of ginger to settle my stomach. I thought this to be a very rude assertion and explained to him that my tongue was the part of me with complaints. This place should be on Kitchen Nightmares!!!!!
Best fish in town!. Great sushi, friendly staff and super affordable. This is the place to go if you like quality fish. Easily the best salmon in town, the tuna is always perfect, or ask the chef what’s good; they know fish.
