This place was great for standard diner food and atmosphere. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and welcoming.
Food was OK, nothing special just OK. The building is a bit on the tired side, the road out front is under construction (nothing the Wheelhouse could do about that, just a heads up) parking is OK and our waitress was very nice.
The first time we went the food was excellent as well as the service. When we went back two days later we had to wait 45 minutes for our so so food.
We were looking for a breakfast place as we traveled through Florence and noticed the Wheelhouse restaurant. The ladies providing service were real nice, but I have to say the food was average. What we ordered was a good value however.
We went there and were very surprised ?.They serve breakfast all day and use really fresh vegetables.and large portions. They serve Baked potatoes all day.Very good Clam Chowder.Very good service. Try It.
We ordered the prime rib to split between us and a huge salad. The salad had a lot of different vegetable. The prime rib was perfectly done. Service was good and prompt. We enjoyed our dinner and would go back.
