Loved it! Delicious pulled pork sandwich and the turkey Rueben was delightful! The setting was peaceful and the decor was eclectic more in line with a fine dining restaurant . (We had just come from the beach and I felt a little under dressed)
Awesome food! Soup was incredible. Had the tuna melt with slaw and was done well. Crab blt was well done, quiche was very fulfilling and the dessert was fresh! Service was amazing! Will be back!!!!

Celebrated Christmas and my 70th birthday. We were vacationing at the Oregon coast a few months back and stopped in for a bite at the Side Door Cafe. We liked it so much that when we were back for Christmas to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday we knew we had to order a meal from here and to arrange the meal with Brooke. Needless to say that the takeout meal was to DIE for. We opted out of the traditional turkey or beef (through Brooke’s recommendation) and had the Paella . Even though we started with the soup and salad there was nothing ordinary about this meal and the portions were HUGE to boot. We will be back for sure and hope everyone checks this place out. You won’t regret it!
Absolute perfection!. Great food and even better service. We had a party of 11 including 6 children under the age of 10 and they not only were very accommodating but the whole experience was top notch. We will definitely return next time we visit Lincoln City or Newport!
The BEST meal we had in Oregon. The menu was amazing and the food was excellent. Kid friendly. We had ribeyes and a delicious sirloin. Great beer and wine. It is definitely a special find and I can’t wait to eat there again.
Awesome food, wonderful ambience, great server! Wow, another awesome restaurant here…will always have to stay 2 nights to be able to go to my 2 favorite restaurants! Had the lamb and the special steak, both were absolutely fabulous. Also the house made lemon vinaigrette was amazing! Dinner prices are more like a $$$ or $$$$ though but well worth it. We got seated next to the fireplace which was romantic. Can’t wait to try dessert! We will be back next trip down to this part of the Oregon coast!
