Tightwad Tuesdsy is the time to hit up the Bullpen! $2 for 6 wings and a pitcher of Highlife for only $4! I think the special starts at 8:00.
This is by far the best sports bar in the downtown area. The customers are non-pretentious and friendly, staff members are all pretty darn hot and some of the girls actually know their sports. I go there on trivia nights and for the tightwad tuesdays and have yet to find anything bad to say about the ‘staff, service, prices or food. Well, okay, men’s room could use some work but it’s an old building and an old bar, it’s not as bad as could be. The 22 selection is awesome and ever changing along with the taps. the rotator can be spendy but it’s almost always worthwhile. Don’t judge this place from the outside, it may look small but inside it’s sports heaven with pretty girls
Avoid at all costs.. Worst sports bar in Portland. Worst so-called dive in Portland. Snail-paced service, lousy tap selection (while the cooler of 22’s is actually comendable?), food that I think they serve *out* of the garbage, ignorant servers, awful layout.I hope it closes soon and some new owners come in, owners lacking the ignorance on display here.
Service does suck. Below average food except the wings. 20+ TVs grey b place to watch sports.
You couldn’t pay me to eat here, but it’s a good place to get wasted with my culinary school buddies after class.
Hmmm. Used to think this place was ok. Last time I visited there the bartender seemed more concerned with getting off work than with servicing the customers. Good location with much potential but poor service.
