I took my girlfriend here for her Birthday. It was a classy vintage atmosphere. The service was great, the champagne cocktails were excellent, and the food was quite good. It was disappointing to discover the coupon I had purchased was for half sized portions from a separate menu. Was a bit pricey.
Needed a new place for brunch in PDX and found Gracie’s. I’m a huge fan of the 1920’s and this place takes you back there all the way to the music. It’s inside a beautiful hotel. We unfortunately didn’t get to have brunch inside the actual restaurant but rather the bar next to it as they were setting up a wedding. The bar was dark and quaint though.
Gracie’s is an elegant restaurant tucked into the Hotel DeLuxe. You feel like you have stepped into a 1920 stage set. The service is always outstanding. The food for any meal is excellent. There is also a wide variety of choices. One of my favorites is the grilled cheese with crab served with tomato bisque. For breakfast I like the corn beef hash. The bartenders make great cocktails. On a hot day a tall gin and tonic is hard to beat.
Top Notch. Starting at the valet parking, this was a top notch establishment. Warmly greeted by the valet, I was also greeted as I entered the lobby. I was dining with a large group and as chaotic as it could have been, it went very smoothly. The servers were very professional. The food came out pretty quickly for such a large group. The food was delicious! I had the trout served with broccollini with a browned butter sauce. Every one at my table seemed to be very impressed with the quality of the dishes they ordered. My first time at Gracie’s but definitely not my last!
Located in the lobby of Portland’s Hotel DeLuxe Gracie’s has the feel of a high class Hollywood Restaraunt without the Hollywood prices. The staff was couteous, attentive, and quick to assist with questions about local sites. I HIGHLY recommend the Bread Pudding French Toast. It was fabulous.
