You would miss it if you weren’t looking for it, tucked away into a little hole in the wall. Have yet to try anything not incredibly tasty, including any noodle and rice dishes. The tables are close and provide an intimate dining experience with your Thai Bistro comrades. Great service and very clean atmosphere. All in all, A+.
Pretty normal prices for thai and very reasonable for prawns. My prawn asparagus plate with brown rice was $12, normally would expect to pay at least $16 other places. It was delicious and the staff was friendly, joked with us and very attentive. We did get there a little early (11:30am), so we beat the lunch rush. It is a little small, but hey it’s Portland.

This is THE best Thai restaurant in this city, period. That is a strong statement but is delivered. Discerning tastes of Asian cuisine are likely to agree.
Delicious. Today I was brought here for lunch. I had never been here before but plan on coming back. I enjoyed their Pra Ram, with chicken. I was surprised by the look when they brought my dish, the peanut sauce is thinner and darker, a brownish color, similar in appearance to brown gravy, I am familiar with it being thicker, almost paste like, and the color of peanuts. That said it was very good. I even ate the carrots without cringing, (I don’t like carrots usually unless so overcooked in soup that I can’t taste them). All the vegetables were cooked perfect, still crisp. The chicken was tender. I also tried Thai iced tea for the first time upon my friend’s recommendation, not something I would drink often but it was good. Parking is difficult because it is close to Jeld-Wen (formerly known as Pge) Park. If you are looking for a place to eat give Kinara a try.
The food is not very good.. The blue crab wantons were the worst I ever had I ate one and threw away the rest, panda express has way better ones. I asked for my duck curry to be not spicy at all, I got 8 out 10 spicy, it’s so spicy I couldn’t take more then one bite. The wanton soup was ok. Pretty much a waist of 30$
Delicious!!. Mmmm, I’m so pleased to have tried this place. It’s a small, cute Portland-y place. But the food was delicious, I’ve never tasted Pad Thai that tastes like that, it was different but really good. I also had crispy rolls, pad se ewe, and fried bananas with ice cream, and I would do it all again if I had to. This has for sure hit one of my top ten. If you haven’t been here yet, based on common review, it is DEFINITELY worth a try!!
