Best Food and Gluten Free Options. I have enjoyed this restaurant over the past few years and it just keeps getting better. I have a gluten intolerance and I can count of an excellent meal that won’t upset my system. The have other foods that I know are wonderful that are not gluten free because my husband and kids love their menu as well. They also have a wine pairing dinner the first Thursday of every month. If you are a wine lover, this is the night for you. Their deserts are excellent both gluten free and regular choices. They have a vast wine list and right now the special cocktail is a lemon drop. Outstanding!!!! and only $5.00. This is a must visit when you are in Grants Pass. If you are local, get out and taste the best food for lunch and dinner in town.
Future diners need to know that The Vine is not the same as it was a couple of years ago (it was awful) it has new owners now. We hadnt been in a couple of years..we had a horrible breakfast..today we thought we’d give it another chance. This time with lunch. Well..it was awesome! I had the biggest meatball sandwich ever..lots of meatballs, perfect sauce, toasted roll perfectly crisp all topped with alot of mozerella. I had the fries as a side..I have to admit I don’t remember having fries this good…they weren’t oily..crispy snap in your mouth with fluffy goodness inside..perfectly salted! Its been awhile since I could say I had a perfect lunch..lol even my beer was chilly cold..okay so it may sound like I own the place but go give it a try…my hubby had the prime rib sandwich and was very happy..hes a big guy..6ft 4in 250 pounds and he was stuffed…im not small but had to take half my sandwich home…service was wonderful..when my hubby was ready for a soda refill a new glass full of soda was brought..I hate when they use the same glass..at the end of lunch the waitress brought us a take home menu showing each nights special..monday night is prime rib and martinis(yea!)..they have a full bar…sooo I know what im doing next monday..but next time I bring my pooch and sit outside to enjoy the weather too! Oops almost forgot to mention they have a huge dessert menu too..okay im done..poke me with a fork!
The service was great the food was terrible. Slimy warm Caesar salad, a French dip that was super bland , chewy and au jus that was cold, boiled and fried potatoes and was super distracted by the gauges in the plaster and out of order woman’s room. Not impressed
Yummy!. Tried this restaurant tonight with my husband and two kids. I had the pan seared Ahi and it was fantastic. My husband had the filet and it was also very good. My daughter had the ribs with the house BBQ sauce and she loved them. My son had a pizza and enjoyed it as well. The service was attentive but not pushy and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommended.
Love everything about the Vine!! Great gluten free food, wonderful service and a relaxing comfortable atmosphere! Highly recommend the sweet potato fries!
Poor Phone Customer Service. They need to get more professional with their phone manners. The lady on the other end yelled at me that she couldn’t hear me because it was noisy and I said it’s not on my end it’s quiet here and I told her it sounded like she was in traffic, and she went on to tell me it was lunch time service and she needed to get back to it. Her tone was rude and very unprofessional. I would RECOMMENDED for them to answer their phones in a quiet area of their business so not to have back ground noise coming through their phone so the customer can hear them and they can hear the customer. I am a customer as well, I guess they forgot that because I didn’t walk in.
Used to be my favorite. The entree was cold and the salad was slimey. Terribly disappointed. Service was excellent
