  We went to this place based on the reviews. The calamari was good but was not seasoned, the dipping sauce was flavorless and didn’t pair well with the squid. Not a single thing we ordered was properly seasoned. The sauces were bland the pasta was mush. Olives are definitely from a can and far too many added to the dishes their mushiness really shined through (not pleasant at all). The Mediterranean dish didn’t have any Mediterranean flavors (just because you put some canned olives and artichokes in a dish doesn’t make it Mediterranean). Ditto for the cacciatore sauce, it was AWEFUL and there were no apparent Italian flavors. The spaghetti sauce was just terrible. Definitely NOT for Foodies!Dear Vine Chef, please allow me to introduce you to salt, pepper, herbs and spices and maybe a cookbook!Our server was very nice and we left her an awesome tip since she wasn’t the one cooking the food. Won’t be going back!

  Very Disappointed.. I preferred the oregonzolla pasta and the pasta was cold and the sauce was bland. I ordered the steak medium rare but each piece was cooked unevenly. One was rare, one well, one medium, etc. Starter salad was a joke. Lettuce with…nothing else. Artichoke dip was straight from the jar. Service was good. I ended up eating my husband’s order, which was at best a tolerable pot roast. Will never go back.

  We just had dinner at the vine great food great dinner great time. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Grants Pass Oregon.
